0 Introducing the new @DuBz216 STREET SQUAD! Blog By: Alicia @Everydayalicia

Introducing the new DUB-O STREET SQUAD! This squad was put together by the very dedicated: Mariah and Dawn. Myself, along with other Dub-O fans work to promote Dub-o and his music. We’re currently doing this through social media promotion, weekly missions, and stickers/flyers. Our first mission was completed this week. It was to view and share the DOIN NUMBERS video. In other news, the Ohio Hip Hop Awards are being held this year on September 27^th and THE WHOLE SQUAD was nominated! Machine Gun Kelly has been nominated for National Noise Maker, Best National Music Video, and Best National Collaboration! Also you’ll see nominations for Slim Gudz, Dub-O, Tezo, Ray Jr., DJ EV, JP DID THIS, Ashleigh VeVerka, Chris Goody, DJ K.Y., Livin’ Legends, and of course EST! Let’s sweep the awards this year! The power behind EST is absolutely amazing! We’ve got this!

I know so many of you are already planning for the No Class Tour! It started August 29^th in Denver and is making stops all over the states. Check out the flyers below for tour dates and don’t forget to book Slim Gudz and DJ Ace for the after party in your hometown! Many of the upcoming shows are with Limp Bizkit – these shows are going to go HARD! You guys can catch me at the Detroit show! Maybe we’ll get a preview of the 2^nd album like we did at fEST 2014!

Also, keep your eyes out for Ohio shows to be added to the tour! MGK recently tweeted this : “Definitely working on getting a couple Ohio dates added to this #noclasstour !! even though we just did EST Fest there, im feelin homesick.”

Hey y’all, it’s Crys here!

Alright now I know we’re all excited to see K in movie theaters everywhere! This past week the official trailer of “Beyond the Lights” was released on YouTube’s Vevo channel. This is K’s very first movie role where he plays Kid Culprit. Since it’s upload it has gotten a good 84,160 hits and has gotten wonderful feedback from fans in the comment section.

The release of this BET/Relativity production has been said to be set for November 14, 2014 so get ready to break out the popcorn and create your rager movie watching circles 😀

In other news, DJ E-V has finally dropped the official music video for “Good Time”!

The song was release January 16th this year and after a long 7 months of waiting and countless hours of listening to the club banger we finally get to put the film with the audio. Vocals laid down my fellow Ohio native, Lorine Chia, and of course Machine Gun Kelly, the video and the title of the track go perfectly. The trio have nothing but a good time as they zip through the boardwalk on Segway’s, gorging on cotton candy, and having some nice clean fun on a rollercoaster! Since it’s release the video has raked in 23,317 views and more to come I’m sure for the party anthem.

Wassup Ragers! It’s been a whole week since EST Fest. Is anyone still physically recovering? I know it took me a while haha. All my foolies, Dub and Tezo had a show in Michigan for the Guilty4Grinding tour that unfortunately had to be postponed but the show goes on!! 1 EST fEST Recap

And just like that, the most ragin’ weekend of the year is over! As all of you probably know by now, Thursday kicked off the 2nd annual EST Fest hosted by none other than Machine Gun Kelly and the squad! Although I was not able to attend, all of the stories I’ve heard and the pictures I’ve seen left me feeling the least bit left out of the fun! Some of my close fam have given me an inside look at some of the things that went on.

First off, there were enough parties this weekend to suffice for the year. The first night started off with a kick ass party hosted by The Munilot Ragers: Frankie, Kahner, and Chad! The party seems to have been a huge success and was the perfect way to get EST Fest jumping for the days to follow! Followed by the highly anticipated Dome Party!

On the second day of fest, EST held a memorial for all of our fallen ragers. Unfortunately we have lost so many of our beautiful brothers and sisters in such a short amount of time recently, so what greater way is there to honor them than to come together at our most unified event and give them a proper farewell? It was an astonishing sight to see; Kells gave a speech and someone said a few words about each fallen rager. This was followed by a moment of silence in which Kells played Blink 182’s “Adam’s Song”. The farewell ended with the release of hot air balloons as L’s were thrown to the sky. May they all rage in peace.

Finally, let’s get to the amazing performances that took place at this year’s EST Fest! Many performers took the stage including some new faces and some familiar ones. Guests included Waka Flocka, Mod Sun, Juvenile, and DJ EV. EST’s own Tezo, Ray Jr., and Dub-O also graced the stage for some turnt up performances! Kid Ink came through to perform crowd favorite “Hell & Back” with MGK, and Blackbear came out to perform “End Of The Road”! Word is that Kells even performed some gems like “100 Words And Running” and “Lead You On” which I would kill to see live! You can find many videos of this year’s performances (and other happenings) throughout EST Fest’s instagram, the fams Facebook also mgkestfam.com will be uploading many pictures taken throughout the weekend by Mariah.

Pictures and videos are still surfacing, and stories are still being told about the epic weekend that just went down. One thing is for sure though, EST Fest is one of the most special times you have the opportunity to experience with your EST family. So if you haven’t been able to make it to one yet, hopefully we can all be there next year. Until then, be on the look out for the next time Kells is in your town; find tickets here!
