It’s crazy to think that the day is finally approaching, the day that we’ve waited for since hearing the final track play on Lace Up album. General Admission is set to release on October 16, 2015 worldwide and with the world watching it’s time to make an impact and have our voices heard. Machine Gun Kelly is known as the voice of the voiceless and with songs like “A Little More” and “Gone” off his upcoming album that statement can’t be denied.

Machine Gun Kelly’s debut album Lace Up came in at No. 4 on the Billboard charts selling over 50k in its first week. That is an extremely impressive for a debut album that had many competition releases around the same time. Many critics complained that his album would have sold more if it weren’t for (almost if you purchased deluxe) half of the songs on the album already being previously released tracks and some being heard 2 years prior. So instead of being defeated and quitting his creative musical style, he takes 3 years to delve deeper into who Machine Gun Kelly really is. He did so all while not having to go into hiding like many artists do, instead he continued to drop sensational music such as “Black Flag” mixtape, “Fuck It” mixtape, numerous features, and singles to ensure you remember his name.

Leading up to the release of his album Machine Gun Kelly continued to prove his creativity by dropping numerous “POWER BOMB”(see what I did there) surprises for his fans. He brought in the New Year with the Cleveland anthem “Till I Die” which later added on an all-star remix with Cleveland’s own Bone Thugs N Harmony. A few months later he revealed that a lucky couple thousand fans who attended his musical festival EST Fest 2014 were given a card that he told them to not lose, actually contained the name of his upcoming album. After which his album cover and release date were revealed in sections every 30 minutes until it all came together as a big picture. As a huge fan I can only wonder and imagine what tricks and surprises MGK still has in store for his fans.
So if you’re like me and know the world needs to hear Machine Gun Kelly’s music and understand the inspiration he brings into our lives each and every day, you will go out on that release date and BUY General Admission. Machine Gun Kelly deserves that No. 1 spot on the charts amongst many awards for his music, but none of that can happen without the support of us fans. So whether you purchase and then gift copies out to friends and family on iTunes/Google or do as I plan and go to Best Buy purchasing as many copies as you can only to give them out to folks to hear his music. LETS TAKEOVER THAT #1 SPOT!!!! General Admission is the wakeup call the world needs but we can’t wake the world up without truly supporting MGK and purchasing his album and taking over all the music charts.
