Let’s meet Irv!
Irv met MGK during the making of 100 words and running (he linked him with Rock City to create “Leave Me Alone”) and had meetings with him in Atlanta on what he wanted to do after the mixtape was done.
In Kellyvision 9 Irv and Kells are actually in a meeting and Kells is playing Irv “End of the Road”. They kept in communication and knew their chemistry together was amazing when it came to being creative and piecing MGK’s music together for the world.
Lace Up was the first mixtape they actually did together, Irv is like his Dr. Dre and Kells is like his Eminem… lol…..since Lace Up they have done everything together.
Irv is MGK’s A&R creative director but Kells calls him his “spiritual advisor” he told us he tries to keep Kells sane…. lol. Irv makes sure anything Kells does musically is taken care of from finding the right beats like (Wild Boy, Invincible, and many more) or sample clearances to features.
Dre and Irv are the oldest on the team so they are the big brothers to the rest of the squad.
Irv enjoys collecting sneakers, eating swedish fish and resee’s peanut butter cups, traveling the world and taking pictures of random cool shit on the road. He also enjoys listening to new and old music and he learning about the history of music.
Irv’s favorite musicians are Jay-z, John Lennon and Nas
The most Inspirational people in Irv’s life are his mother, John Lennon and anyone who is passionate.
When Irv has free time he enjoys sleeping (he never have free time lol), making vision boards on what he wants to accomplish. Finding things that motivate him like watching The Secret or inspirational videos on YouTube. He also enjoys chilling with his family catching up with what’s going on in there lives. He loves playing blackjack in Vegas (and doesn’t want us to judge him…lol) and planning his future
